According to railway officials, a large number of devotees from across the country arrive in Katra during the Navratri period to seek the “Darshan” of Mata Vaishno Devi. Keeping this in mind, the Railways has extended the services of the Delhi-Katra special trains to ensure that adequate seats are available for passengers and to alleviate the pressure caused by overcrowding.
Train To Complete 14 Trips
According to the Railways, Train No. 04081 will operate between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra for a total of 14 trips. Previously, this train was scheduled to run from February 21 to March 8; however, its services have now been extended to cover the period from March 17 to March 30.
