The house-to-house enumeration phase of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is currently underway across the state and will continue till August 3. To further streamline the process, a one-day special camp is being organized at all polling booths across the state on July 19 (Sunday), 2026 from 08:00 AM to 02:00 PM, which will facilitate voters to fill and submit their enumeration forms.
Urging the voters of the state to actively participate, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Punjab, Anindita Mitra, IAS, appealed to the voters, “If you have not yet filled your enumeration form, immediately contact your Booth Level Officer (BLO) or visit your nearest polling booth during this special camp. Active participation of citizens is very important to ensure that the name of every eligible voter is included in the primary electoral roll to be published on August 13.”
She further said that the Booth Level Officers (BLO) will be present at all the designated polling booths to assist the voters in this process.
