Sunny Deol’s recently released film “Batwara 1947” is receiving positive reviews from the audience as well as Bollywood. The film, which released on August 14, features Sunny Deol in an action avatar, but the story of the film goes beyond religion and partition, giving a message of humanity, love and brotherhood. Actress and Sunny Deol’s stepmother, Hema Malini, has also praised the film after watching it.

Hema Malini shared a post about the film on social media platform X. She wrote that she has watched “Batwara” and called it a wonderful film. According to her, the message of the film is very important in today’s times. She said that humanity, mutual respect and brotherhood are more important than hatred and division.

Sunny Deol’s Acting Was Also Praised

Hema Malini also praised the performance of the film’s actors. She described the performances of Sunny Deol and Shabana Azmi as excellent. She also praised the work of Karan Deol and Preity Zinta.

She praised the film’s director Rajkumar Santoshi, calling his direction excellent. Hema Malini also congratulated Aamir Khan for making a film whose message is relevant in the current times.

Apart from Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol and Preity Zinta, the film also stars Kanika Kapoor, Abhimanyu Singh and Ali Fazal in lead roles.

Collection Of 26.5 Crores In Three Days

Batwara 1947 has also started well at the box office. The film has collected 26.5 crores at the domestic box office in its first three days. On the first day, the film earned ₹5.75 crore, while on the second day, the earnings increased to ₹13.50 crore. On the third day, the film earned ₹7.25 crore.

Now it remains to be seen at what pace the film’s earnings will increase in the coming days and whether it will be able to strengthen its hold among the audience.
