Good News! SC Families In Haryana To Receive 80,000

The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Housing Renovation Scheme for Scheduled Caste families will be relaunched in Haryana. Eligible families living below the poverty line will be provided ₹80,000 for house renovation.
The process of identifying eligible families has begun at the district level. Eligible families will receive the scheme’s benefits on the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas.
During a review meeting on Wednesday, Krishan Kumar Bedi, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment and Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, directed officials to complete the identification and selection process for eligible families in a time-bound manner.
Poor families from all sections of society can avail the benefits of the scheme. As of June 30, financial assistance totaling ₹415 crore has been provided to 85,815 beneficiaries across all categories. The scheme for poor Scheduled Caste families will be relaunched on September 25.
Bedi stated that the state government is continuously working towards the economic and social upliftment of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes. Benefits of various welfare schemes such as the Chief Minister Vivah Shagun Yojana, Chief Minister Social Harmony Inter-caste Marriage Shagun Yojana, Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste students, and Chief Minister Yuva Pratibha Protsahan Yojana are being extended to eligible individuals.
