There will be no bus strike in Punjab tomorrow, August 27. This decision has been taken after a meeting between Punjab Roadways, PUNBUS and PRTC Contract Workers Union and Transport Minister Harpal Singh Cheema.
Union President Resham Singh said that the meeting was very productive, in which consensus was reached on several issues. A follow-up meeting is to be held on September 6. As a result, in view of the festival of Raksha Bandhan, the union has decided not to go on strike on August 27.
