Rohit Sharma Is Now Going To Make A Grand Debut In The Entertainment World
India’s World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma will be seen leading Sony Pictures Networks India’s upcoming show, ‘Family Full House’. The show marks Rohit Sharma’s debut in the entertainment field. The makers announced the title of the show along with the premiere date on Monday.
‘Family Full House’ is set to premiere on September 19, 2026, exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. Rohit has already announced his retirement from Test and T20 cricket formats. However, he remains an ODI player.
Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to see if the 39-year-old is a part of the 2027 World Cup. During the recent tour of England, it was speculated that the series decider would be Rohit’s last international match for the country. However, Rohit scored 138 runs in a 388-run target against England, ending England’s ODI run tally at 175 runs in three matches at an average of 58.33 and a strike rate of 98.31.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) announced its extensive festive-season content line-up which also included ‘Family Full House’.
This included the latest season of the reality game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and ‘Indian Game Show’ hosted by popular television couple Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The show sees some of the most popular faces from the television world coming together for fun challenges.
Apart from this, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has also become the host for the true-crime series ‘Crime Patrol 2026’.
