The makers of director Ravi Namburi’s much-awaited Telugu romantic entertainer Chennai Love Story, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gauri Priya in the lead roles, have now announced that the film will release on July 24 this year.
The production house, Mass Movie Makers, which is producing the film, made the announcement on its social media timeline. It reads, “The wait is over. #ChennaiLoveStory A timeless story of love is all set to touch hearts across the world. Hitting theatres across the world on July 24. A magical love story from the makers of #ColourPhoto & #Baby, with captivating music by Mani Sharma.”
Sri Gauri Priya, for her part, took to Instagram to share the poster announcing the date. She wrote, “July 24th!!! Chennai Love Story is releasing worldwide!”
For those unaware, Sri Gauri Priya shot to fame with her performance in the Tamil romantic drama ‘Lover’, which not only became a superhit film. Lover not only set the cash registers ablaze at the box office, but was also praised by critics for its content that deals with toxic relationships.
While Kiran Abbavaram plays a character named Steven Sankar in Chennai Love Story, Sri Gauri Priya plays a character named Nivi in the film.
