‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ Hits OTT Platforms, Streaming On Netflix From August 7

Director Imtiaz Ali’s popular romantic-drama “Main Vaapas Aaunga” is now all set to release on OTT platforms. After a strong theatrical run, the film streamed on Netflix from August 7. The film stars Vedang Raina, Sharvari Wagh, Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah in lead roles. Upon release, the film received positive reviews from audiences and critics, with the performances of the actors being highly praised.

Releasing in theatres on June 12, the film initially experienced a slow performance at the box office but later garnered strong earnings due to strong word-of-mouth. Several scenes from the film also went viral on social media. According to reports, the film has grossed around ₹99.31 crore worldwide, including ₹77.33 crore from India and ₹21.98 crore from overseas markets. Imtiaz Ali has directed the film and co-written the story with Nayanika Mahtani. All eyes will be on how the film, which has won the hearts of the audience in theatres, performs in terms of viewership on OTT.
