Sewa Kendras To Remain Closed In Punjab On September 15

This is important news for the people of Punjab, Punjab Sewa Kendra Employees Union has announced a complete closure of all Sewa Kendras across Punjab on September 15 due to non-resolution of their long-pending demands. All Sewa Kendras across the state will remain completely closed on this day. Punjab Sewa Kendra Employees Union has announced a one-day complete shutdown, alleging that the government has neglected their long-pending demands and failed to resolve the issues.

According to the union, work will come to a standstill in Sewa Kendras across the state on September 15. The employees will hold a state-level protest outside the Labour Department office in Phase-10 of Mohali. During this protest, they will raise issues of their pending demands and the alleged harassment being faced by them.

Union office bearers said that the government and the concerned officials have been informed in advance about the problems and demands of the employees. Written submissions were submitted, but no concrete meeting has been called so far to resolve the issues. This is the reason for the resentment among the employees. The union said that the future course of action for the agitation will be decided during the protest on September 15. If the government does not resolve the demands soon, a major agitation may be launched in the coming days. The union stressed that the government and the concerned departments will be responsible for the situation arising out of this.

Punjab Sewa Kendra Employees Union State President Baljinder Singh Majha and General Secretary Gursewak Singh Chahal have appealed to the employees across the state to reach Mohali on September 15 and participate in the protest in large numbers.
