CWG 2026: Neeraj Chopra Reaches Javelin Throw Final

India’s Neeraj Chopra, Rohit Yadav and Yash Vir Singh have reached the javelin throw final of the Commonwealth Games. In the qualification round, Neeraj finished fifth with a best throw of 79.61 meters. Pakistan’s Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem reached the final by finishing seventh with 78.63 meters. The medal event will be played from 12:45 am on Friday.

Neeraj threw 76.28 meters in his first attempt and 79.61 meters in his second attempt. After this, he did not make a third attempt and qualified for the final by finishing fifth.
