Raghav Chadha Responds To All Allegations By The Aam Aadmi Party
States: Every Lie Will Be Exposed

Raghav Chadha, the Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab, has issued a clarification regarding the allegations leveled against him. Going live on Facebook, Chadha stated that a concerted campaign is being waged against him characterized by identical language and identical allegations. “Initially, I felt I should not respond to this; however, I subsequently realized that if a lie is repeated a hundred times, it begins to sound like the truth.”
Clarification Provided On Three Major Allegations
First Allegation : “Three major allegations have been leveled against me by the Aam Aadmi Party. The first allegation is that whenever the Opposition stages a walkout from the House, Raghav Chadha remains seated. This is an absolute lie. Name a single day when the Opposition staged a walkout and I did not join them. There are CCTV cameras installed everywhere in Parliament; retrieve the footage and present it. The truth will become crystal clear.”
Second Allegation : Raghav stated, “The second allegation leveled against me is that I did not sign the petition seeking the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner. This, too, is a blatant lie. No leader from the AAP ever asked me to sign this petition. Furthermore, the party has ten MPs in the Rajya Sabha, and six or seven of them of their own accord did not sign this petition either. So, what is my fault in this? Why is the entire blame being placed solely on me? This petition required only 50 signatures in the Rajya Sabha; meaning, out of the 105 Opposition MPs, the petition could have been completed with the support of just 50 members.”
Third Allegation : Chadha remarked, “The third allegation leveled against me is that Raghav Chadha has become intimidated, and consequently, he raises trivial issues. Let me clarify: I did not go to Parliament to shout, hurl abuses, or smash microphones. I went there to raise issues concerning the public. Which issue have I not raised? From GST to water issues from the water crisis in Punjab to the air quality in Delhi I have spoken on every subject.I have raised issues ranging from unemployment to inflation. Go ahead and examine my track record. My objective in Parliament is to create an impact.” To those leveling accusations against me, I want to say: every lie will be exposed. Every question will be answered. I am wounded and therefore, I am lethal.
