Only The BJP Will Pull Punjab Out Of The Quagmire; BJP State President Says

BJP State President Sunil Jakhar said that the fact that senior Congress leaders are now writing to the central government to improve the deteriorating law and order situation in the state makes it clear that, like the common people of Punjab and all other sections, the opposition Congress has now accepted that only the BJP, under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, can improve the dire situation in the state.

The BJP President said that Punjab needs strong leadership that has the courage to take decisions and implement them. Only then can law and order be brought under control, people can have a safe environment, and the state can be put on the path of development. He said that only the BJP can do this, and now it is in the hands of the people of Punjab to decide whether they want to live in daily fear of losing their lives or choose a peaceful Punjab based on social harmony.

Sunil Jakhar said that due to the irresponsible and immature Aam Aadmi Party government, narco-terrorism in the state has now transformed into gangster narco-terrorism. Gangsters lure young men into their fold by luring them with dreams of a supposedly glitzy and glamorous life; these young men later become readily available as cannon fodder for terrorist organizations and spread terror in the state.

Blaming Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s incompetence for this situation, Jakhar said that the state’s intelligence network has completely failed, and the police are now limited to merely performing cosmetic actions and calming public anger by staging so-called encounters after incidents.

He said that nearly 20 incidents of hand-grenade attacks have occurred in Punjab recently. This is the result of the growing nexus between gangsters, drugs, and terrorism, but the state government has completely failed to address them. Punjab previously grappled with the terror of AK-47s, and now hand grenades have become the new normal for the state.

This fear and terror is affecting the common Punjabi, who is constantly worried about the safety of life and property. Instead of deploying the police to protect the public, they are being deployed for pre-wedding videography shoots of AAP leaders.

The People Must Come Forward To Save The State.

Responding to another question, Jakhar said that the Chief Secretary and DGP speaking at the Moga rally and later calling it a government event is completely ridiculous. He showed the media the Chief Minister’s tweet from that day, stating that the Chief Minister himself had described the rally as an Aam Aadmi Party rally. In what capacity did the state’s top civil and police officials speak at that rally?

The BJP president further stated that the opposition Congress party has completely surrendered to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and none of its leaders dare to speak out. Consequently, he said that the people of Punjab must take the pledge to come forward to save their state.

He added that the BJP can pull the state out of this quagmire, but for this the public will have to elect the party in the elections – only then will Punjab be able to get rid of the misrule of the irresponsible and inexperienced AAP government.
