“The Party Can’t Forget Me, Just Like An Ex-Girlfriend…” Raghav Chadha’s Statement On AAP

Political temperatures in Punjab rose as Rajya Sabha member Raghav Chadha arrived in Chandigarh amidst the BJP’s ongoing anti-drug march. Chadha, once a prominent face of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), took a dig at his former party now as a BJP MP adding a new layer of intrigue to the ongoing war of words in Punjab’s politics.

Chadha remarked that AAP’s condition resembles that of an ex-girlfriend whose lover has moved on, yet she remains unable to forget him. He stated that AAP has reached a point where he appears like a ghost in their leaders’ dreams at night; day and night, AAP leaders do nothing but chant “Raghav Chadha, Raghav Chadha.” He added that he is genuinely concerned about this state of affairs within AAP.

‘They Might Slit Their Wrists Missing Me’

Taking his sarcasm a step further, Chadha expressed fear that, like a heartbroken lover, AAP members might slit their wrists while pining for him. This statement comes at a time when the BJP is relentlessly cornering the AAP government over the drug menace in Punjab.

Through its anti-drug march, the BJP is turning its campaign against substance abuse into a major political issue. Former AAP leaders and MPs who have joined the BJP are playing a crucial role in this campaign.
