Shekhar spoke about the prevalence of jealousy among people there, noting that the atmosphere has become highly toxic. He also shared other observations regarding people in Bollywood and celebrities. In a recent interview Shekhar Suman said, “Look, when someone fails, a film flops, or a marriage falls apart, some people feel a sense of satisfaction. Such individuals are unhappy seeing others succeed or find happiness.
We are living in an era in Bollywood where the atmosphere has become very toxic.” He added, “There is a lot of jealousy among people in Bollywood. They hug each other to their faces but will stab you in the back later. They would step over each other’s corpses to get ahead. It is truly disheartening.” Despite this situation, Shekhar Suman holds great respect for Bollywood. He stated, “Our industry has survived and endured because there are still good people here. It is this industry that gave us stars like Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan.” Shekhar Suman is a multi-talented individual; beyond acting, he has tried his hand at anchoring, singing, and even production.
