Raja Warring May Resign From The Post Of Congress President

A new twist has come in the ongoing tussle in the Punjab Congress. It is reported that Amarinder Singh Raja Warring may resign from the post of Punjab Congress President.

In fact, according to the report of Punjab Congress in-charge Bhupesh Baghel, former Chief Minister and MP Charanjit Singh Channi and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa are not ready to contest the elections under the leadership of Raja Warring at any cost. Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel had held a meeting with the Channi faction during his visit to Punjab. In this meeting, the leaders of the Channi faction had made it clear that they did not like the leadership of Raja Warring. The leaders of the Channi faction even said that the party does not want a ‘compromised’ leader. They said that the high command should reconsider this.

Therefore, it is believed that at the behest of the high command or for the party itself, Raja Warring can also leave this post. However, it is also being said that the Congress high command will not hand over the chair of the president to any of Charanjit Singh Channi or Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Let us tell you that this has not been officially confirmed by the Congress. An important meeting is underway between Rahul Gandhi and National President Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi. Only after which the whole picture will be clear.
