Monsoon Session Dates Finalized; Read Full Details

The cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, in which 12 agendas were discussed and then unanimously passed. After the Haryana Cabinet meeting, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini held a press conference, in which he informed that the cabinet has finalized the date of the monsoon session. The monsoon session of Haryana will begin from August 27, which will last for three days.
CM Saini informed that the Water Secure Haryana program has been implemented. It will cost ₹5,714.80 crore with the support of the World Bank. 48.94 lakh acres of land will be covered in 15 irrigation clusters, which will benefit 45 lakh people.
He said that the scheme to promote women startups was also given the green signal. This is expected to directly benefit 45 lakh people. The Chief Minister said that micro irrigation will be promoted and 104 canal channels will be renovated.
He said that Startup India, Make in India and Digital India have given the youth a platform through which they can turn their dreams into reality. There are 11 thousand 900 recognized startups, 19 unicorn companies are here and 5 thousand 880 women startups. The Haryana government is moving towards making the youth not job seekers but job providers.
Women-led startups will get 50 percent subsidy on lease rent for one year, with a maximum limit of Rs 10 lakh. There is a provision to provide assistance of up to Rs 10 lakh for technology licensing/transfer.
He said that new rules have been made mandatory for private coaching centers. Whether it is an old coaching center or a new one, all of them will have to register themselves on the government’s online portal. It is mandatory for every coaching center to have clean drinking water, proper electricity supply, fire safety equipment and medical first aid for children. Coaching institutions will have to clearly write the security arrangements of the center and all the necessary information related to the students on their official website so that parents and children can see it.
