Salman Khan’s upcoming war drama film ‘Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace’ previously titled ‘Battle of Galwan’ is one of the most anticipated movies, and excitement surrounding it continues to grow with every new update.
While movie enthusiasts eagerly await fresh details about the project, sources claim that the filmmakers will announce the release date for the Salman-starrer once the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) has screened the film.
Sources further revealed that work on ‘Maatrubhumi’ is nearly complete, with only a few VFX segments remaining. A source associated with the film stated, “*Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace* is nearly ready. This film will focus on Colonel Santosh Babu (a role played by Salman Khan) and the 16 Bihar Regiment, who were tasked with implementing the disengagement agreement along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
Chitrangada Singh will appear as the lead actress in this film, which is being produced under the banner of ‘Salman Khan Films’.
Salman’s upcoming projects also include Vamshi Paidipally’s ‘SVC 63’ (co-starring Nayanthara) and an untitled thriller with Raj & DK.
Additionally, Salman has returned as the host of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 20’.
