Anupam Kher And Boman Irani’s Comedy Film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’

The highly anticipated comedy film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’, starring Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, has received a new release date. The film’s producers, T-Series, announced via their official social media handle on Tuesday that the sequel will now reach audiences on March 5 next year.

The post read, “Deal sealed! The Khosla family is ready to take over the cinemas with #KhoslaKaGhosla2, arriving on the big screen on March 5, 2027!”

The announcement poster depicted the lead actors wrapped in a bomb made of property agreements (documents), with Boman (aka Khurana) poised to set them all ablaze. Earlier, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ was scheduled for theatrical release on August 28.

Directed by Priya Mishra and Prashant Bhagia, “Khosla Ka Ghosla 2” is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Savita Raj Hiremath, and Raj Hiremath. Kiran Juneja, Ranvir Shorey, and Tara Sharma will also be seen reprising their roles from the original drama (the first film) in this project.

In August, when Boman wrapped up shooting for his portion, Kher spoke about their off-screen relationship. The veteran actor wrote on their account, “Our relationship in the film is completely different from our off-screen bond. In the movie, he is the intimidating, ruthless, and unforgettable #KhuranaSaab. In real life, he is one of the warmest, kindest, and most open-hearted friends one could wish for.”

Sharing their experience of working with Boman, they said, “His understanding of cinema, his preparation, his attention to detail, and his ability to elevate every scene are truly extraordinary. Even between takes whether we were discussing movies or life, or playing a game like chess every moment spent with him was a sheer delight.”

Released in 2006, the film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ tells the story of Kamal Kishore Khosla (Kher), the head of a middle-class Delhi family, and his family, who seek to reclaim their land that has been usurped by a builder named Khurana.
