Japanese Entrepreneurs’ Confidence In Haryana’s Policies Has Grown : Nayab Saini
Daikin Air Conditioners Investing ₹1,000 Crore

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the positive impact of the state government’s industry-friendly policies is now clearly becoming visible. In line with this, Daikin Air Conditioners is investing approximately ₹1,000 crore in Manesar, a move expected to create new employment opportunities for over 500 youths in the state.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was interacting with a Japanese delegation at ‘Sant Kabir Kutir’ in Chandigarh. The Japanese delegation expressed their special gratitude to the Chief Minister, who, in turn, honored them by presenting them with a copy of the *Gita*. The Chief Minister noted that Japanese companies’ confidence regarding investment in the state has grown significantly, and they are now keen to invest. As part of this investment by the Japanese company, a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) center will be established in Manesar. This will be the first and largest center of its kind in the country, which will not only foster technological innovation but also further strengthen Haryana’s position as an industrial hub.
The Chief Minister stated that this investment is a direct outcome of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during his visit to Japan in October 2025. Japan’s confidence in Haryana’s policies and industrial ecosystem has deepened, manifesting in the form of this investment. This will pave the way for further foreign investment in the future and generate additional employment opportunities for the youth. Thus, the Chief Minister’s visit to Japan is now bearing fruit.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government’s primary objective is to promote ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and reduce the ‘Cost of Doing Business.’ To this end, the government has implemented numerous reformative and essential measures, thereby facilitating industrialists in making investments.
He added that the government has implemented a ‘Single Window System’ to facilitate industrial investors, under which all necessary No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) are made available at a single location. This has simplified and expedited administrative processes, thereby increasing the state’s appeal to foreign companies. The Chief Minister stated that, owing to the industry-friendly schemes and incentives implemented by the State Government, Haryana is increasingly becoming the preferred choice for investors. The government remains committed to further boosting investment and generating new employment opportunities.
