Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Chandigarh and Punjab. PM Narendra Modi has reached Jalandhar after Chandigarh. Here he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects worth Rs 5,470 crore. Vikramjit Sahni, Harbhajan Singh and Ashok Mittal were also present in this rally.
Let us tell you that PM started his speech in Punjabi. He said, “Today I feel proud to come to the land of Punjab, the land of Gurus and Pirs. How are you Punjabis? You are in the peak of your artistic potential.” He said that friends, we have honored the Gurus. On the same lines, we have named Adampur Airport after Guru Ravidas Maharaj.
PM He said that now when you go to Jalandhar Cantt station here, you will realize that our country is going to become a developed nation. It is not just a station, but a city center. Its capacity has also increased. Similarly, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Sri Muktsar Sahib stations have also been transformed.
He said that with this, local artisans here have also got employment. Self-help groups here get work, so the facility to sell their products has also been given. Just as Jalandhar is a sports city, you will get a glimpse of sports at this station. The image of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib will be visible at Anandpur Sahib station. Similarly, Kalika Mata will be seen in Kalka.
He said that friends, now there is a need for a BJP government in Punjab. Only a BJP government can develop Punjab. Today, I have come to Jalandhar, so I will tell the youth one thing. I have full faith in the youth of Punjab. The passion that the youth of Punjab show in the field of sports is very commendable. The ‘Khelo India’ policy is for you. Sports are also at the heart of the new economy, which is a boon for Jalandhar. I recently went to New Zealand, where 5 big agreements were signed in the field of sports. So, the youth of Punjab, join sports. We have to take Punjab forward. Modi is always with the youth of Punjab.
Apart from this, the PM said that today the foundation stone of the new section of Ludhiana Bypass, Katra-Delhi has been laid. I congratulate my brothers and sisters of Punjab on this special occasion. There is no BJP government in Punjab, but the BJP-NDA government at the Center is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that our Punjab develops. The PM said that finally, I once again congratulate Punjab for its development work.
