Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in New Zealand after Australia. PM Modi was given a warm welcome at the airport. PM Modi will be on a visit to New Zealand from July 10 and 11.
Let us tell you that this will be the first visit to New Zealand by an Indian Prime Minister in the last 40 years. After reaching Auckland, Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral talks with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Laxman. The two leaders will comprehensively review the relations between the two countries in trade, investment, defense and other important areas. There has been commendable progress in trade and defense cooperation between India and New Zealand in the last two years.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Modi will also meet leading industrialists and prominent figures from the sports world in Auckland. Apart from this, he will also address the Indian community, which is being considered a symbol of the strong people-to-people ties between India and New Zealand.
On the other hand, even before the visit to New Zealand, the Prime Minister of that country has made a big statement. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has said that 57 percent of the goods exported from India will be tariff-free.
