Punjab’s Daughter Becomes Junior Health Minister in England

Punjab’s daughter Preet Kaur Gill has increased the pride of Punjab and Punjabis by becoming junior health minister in England. She started her political career as a councillor and first became a councillor on a Labour Party ticket in 2012. In the June 2017 general election, she was elected as the first female British Sikh MP for Birmingham Edgbaston on a Labour Party ticket.
