Chief Minister Transfers Over 1,595 Crore To The Accounts Of More Than 50 Lakh Beneficiaries

Honorarium Under 'Lado Lakshmi Yojana' In Haryana For Those With An Annual Income Of ₹1.80 Lakh

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini gave a major gift to lakhs of families in the state by directly transferring ₹1,595.50 crore via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) into the bank accounts of 5,004,873 eligible beneficiaries under various public welfare schemes. By transferring this amount directly to the beneficiaries’ accounts, the government has further strengthened a system based on transparency and good governance.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister specifically released the 10th installment of the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana’. Under this installment, ₹209.62 crore was deposited into the accounts of 998,000 women and girls. With this, a total of ₹2,042.31 crore has been disbursed to beneficiaries across 10 installments under this scheme so far.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government had launched the ‘Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi’ app on September 25 last year marking the 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya and had initially allocated a budget of ₹5,000 crore for it. He announced that on Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s birth anniversary this year, the income limit for eligibility under this scheme would be raised from ₹1 lakh to ₹1.80 lakh. He further mentioned that a budget provision of ₹6,500 crore has been made for the Lado Lakshmi Yojana in the current financial year, paving the way for more eligible women to avail the benefits of the scheme.
