Bollywood Actor Sunny Deol Pays Obeisance At Takht Sri Patna Sahib

Ahead of the release of his upcoming film “Batwara 1947”, superstar Sunny Deol paid obeisance at Takht Sri Patna Sahib with his son Karan Deol. Sunny, in a post with Karan, shared some pictures from his visit to Takht Sri Patna Sahib, one of the five Takhts of Sikhs located in Patna. In the pictures, the father-son duo is seen praying and humbly receiving Karah Prasad. Sharing glimpses of the spiritual journey, the superstar said that he is feeling “truly blessed” after offering prayers at the revered shrine.

“Feeling truly blessed to have visited the holy birthplace of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib,” Sunny wrote in the caption. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, was born in Patna in 1666. He spent his early years here before moving to Anandpur Sahib. Sunny and Karan are in Bihar to promote their upcoming film “Batwara 1947”. Along with Sunny in the lead role, the drama also stars Shabana Azmi, Preity Zinta, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal roles.
