In this film, I had the opportunity to portray a character whose emotions are quite distinct.”

He helps actors truly *feel* what their character is thinking, what they are experiencing, and what is unfolding in their life. That is precisely why, after working with him, actors begin to feel an intense closeness to the characters they portray.” Sharvari stated, “For actors like me, this experience proved immensely beneficial.
Vedang and I both agree that Imtiaz Ali helped us gain a profound understanding of emotions such as love, longing, and a sense of belonging. The film illustrates where a person ultimately feels the deepest sense of connection and which emotions hold the greatest significance in their heart.” Speaking about the defining characteristics of Imtiaz Ali’s films, she remarked, “His stories often feature characters who are navigating a pivotal turning point in their lives.
It is a phase where a person begins to understand themselves, gain clarity on their relationships, and start viewing the world through a fresh perspective. Portraying such a character was an incredibly thrilling experience for me, as it felt as though I was reliving those very life-altering emotions myself.” The actress concluded by saying, “I thoroughly enjoyed every single moment of working with Imtiaz Ali.” “The director’s greatest strength is that he draws out heartfelt performances from the actors.” The film Main Wapas Aunga will be released in theaters on June 12.
