Anupam Kher’s Reel Takes The Internet By Storm With 100 Million Views

During the COVID-19 pandemic, influencer Mr. Faisu created a reel set to the song “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi,” which went viral on social media and turned him into an internet star. While many others subsequently created reels based on it, the trend saw a resurgence recently when influencers recreated it during the NEET protests.

However, netizens were particularly delighted when veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher recreated this reel alongside his friends and co-stars Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, and Parvin Dabas.

Entering The 100-Million Club

Ahead of the highly anticipated release of his film *Khosla Ka Ghosla 2*, Anupam Kher joined Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, and Parvin Dabas to recreate the “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi” reel, thereby hopping on the trend. This reel by Anupam Kher also went viral, hitting the 100-million-view mark within just a few hours.

Ranvir Shorey Expresses Gratitude To Anupam

Witnessing the tremendous response to the reel, Ranvir Shorey took to X on Monday to thank Anupam Kher for helping them go viral.

Sharing a screenshot of the video, Ranvir wrote, “Thanks to Anupam Kher for bringing us into the 100+ million views club.” The screenshot revealed that the video had garnered over 119 million views, along with 5.6 million likes, 1.4 million shares, and 144,000 comments. Anupam wrote a witty caption

About ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’

‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ is the sequel to the famous 2006 comedy film. This upcoming movie will feature the original stars from the first film alongside some new faces. The film is directed by Prashant Bangia.

The cast includes Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranveer Shorey, Pravin Dabas, Tara Sharma, and Kiran Juneja, while Divya Khosla, Ravi Kishan, Nishant Verma, Kangan Barua Nangia, and Danish Iqbal have also joined the ensemble. The film is set to hit theaters on August 28.
