Register For The Amarnath Yatra Starting Tomorrow
Gaurishankar Sevadal To Transport Devotees From The Tricity

Registration for the Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on July 3rd, will begin this Wednesday. Facilities for registration specifically for devotees traveling from Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula will be available at the J&K Bank.
To register, it is mandatory for every devotee to undergo a medical examination at a government hospital. Devotees are granted permission to undertake the pilgrimage only if their medical reports are found to be satisfactory. As in previous years, the Gaurishankar Sevadal located in Sector 45 will once again organize and lead groups (jathas) of devotees on the Amarnath Yatra.
The Gaurishankar Sevadal will also make arrangements for the accommodation and meals of the devotees traveling in these groups. The organizers clarified that the pilgrims cover their own travel fares; they also bring along their personal supplies, ranging from raincoats to walking sticks and various other necessities. The Sevadal’s specific role is to provide transportation vehicles and to manage the arrangements for the pilgrims’ accommodation and meals.
