Proceedings for the third day of the Punjab Assembly’s budget session have begun. LoP and Congress Leader Pratap Bajwa has raised questions about his question not being included during the Punjab Assembly session. Bajwa stated that his question was about agricultural policy. Initially, the question number was different, but it was later changed, and Question Hour was ended. Ministers did not want to answer questions on agricultural policy, which is why this was done. Bajwa said that this should not happen. This is a wrong practice.
Congress leaders staged a walkout from the House, shouting slogans. Congress MLAs shouted slogans and alleged that they were not being given time to speak on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address.
Finance Minister Harpal Cheema took a dig at the Congress, saying that they even staged a walkout during the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address. Congress MLAs are trying to run away from listening to the answers. CM Mann and other MLAs need to present their views, which the Congress MLAs didn’t want to hear. They’re terrified by the government’s actions. The people elected them, but they don’t even consider it necessary to present their side. Cheema said that our government has fulfilled five guarantees within four years. It closed toll plazas and now has fulfilled the guarantee of giving women 1000 to 1500 rupees per month. Congress has become a party that walks out.
