A Film Made With Sincerity Inevitably Reaches The Audience – Janhvi Kapoor

At an event in Mumbai for the upcoming film ‘Peddi’, actress Janhvi Kapoor spoke about the movie, the audience, and South Indian cinema. She remarked that the success of any film hinges on its sincerity, hard work, and good intentions. Janhvi said, “If a film is made with complete honesty and hard work, it is bound to reach its audience. People are quick to judge, but ultimately, we make films to entertain the audience. We work for them, so their emotions and opinions cannot be ignored. For me, the audience is like God, and we simply strive to serve them.”
Sharing her experience with South Indian cinema, Janhvi mentioned that she is thoroughly enjoying working in Telugu films. However, she jokingly added that she likely wouldn’t attempt working in Malayalam, as she finds the language quite challenging. She said, “Malayalam is a beautiful and lovely language, but it is very difficult for me. I feel somewhat familiar with Tamil and Telugu, which is why I am really enjoying working in Telugu films. In the future, I would also like to work in Tamil films.”
During the event, Janhvi Kapoor also spoke about actor Ram Charan’s popularity. She recounted how, during a recent trip to the US, she heard Ram Charan’s name everywhere. Janhvi said, “I just returned from the US, and people there cite Ram Charan as a representative figure for Indians. Even at immigration, when I was asked if I was an actress from India, they immediately mentioned Ram Charan!”
