Party Leaders Strongly Condemn Attack On Sukhbir Singh Badal

Political leaders are condemning the attack on Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal in Maharashtra’s Nanded and are also demanding an impartial investigation. Senior party leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that it is a matter of concern as to what forces are working behind this. He said that whenever the Akali Dal starts coming forward, deadly attacks start happening. Cheema said that such attacks are also a big threat to the country’s democracy. He demanded that a high-level inquiry should be held into this attack so that it can be known whose conspiracy this is.

Along with this, Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia said that there should be a CBI investigation into it to know what forces are behind it. Bikram Majithia said, “By the grace of Guru Sahib, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal is completely safe. Earlier on December 4, Sukhbir Badal was attacked, and today there was another attack at Gurudwara Sahib in Nanded. We appeal to the central government to conduct an impartial CBI investigation into these repeated attacks on the Akali Dal President and to strengthen his security arrangements.”
