PM Modi Reaches Indonesia’s Largest Hindu Temple

PM Modi reached the country’s largest Hindu temple, Prambanan, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He was accompanied by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. The two inaugurated the temple’s conservation and restoration project. The Prime Minister also visited the temple.

In his address at the temple complex, Modi said, “I have always had the opportunity to connect with Lord Shiva in some form or the other. After Somnath, Kashi Vishwanath, Kedarnath Dham and the Mahakal Temple of Ujjain, it is my good fortune that I got the opportunity to develop the Prambanan Temple.”

Prime Minister Modi has left Indonesia for Melbourne, Australia. He will be on a visit to Australia from July 8 to 10.
