The makers of the upcoming animated film ‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ have pushed its release date. The film is now officially scheduled to hit theatres on July 17.
‘Mahaprabhu Jagannath’ is being touted as a complete family entertainer that seamlessly blends high-quality animation with deep cultural education. With the historical Rath Yatra serving as the perfect backdrop, Mahaprabhu Jagannath is uniquely positioned to capture the hearts of millions.
The film follows the success of the previously released animated series, ‘Jai Jagannath’, which garnered millions of views during its television run.
The film is directed by Shripad Warkhedkar, who seamlessly transfers the story to the cinematic canvas. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Pallavi Sharma, ensuring a heartwarming story that resonates with both children and adults.
The film is produced by Durga Prasad Dalai under the banner of Eli Animations Pvt. Ltd. Scaling for a larger theatrical footprint, Eli Animations has collaborated with Cinepolis to ensure a wide pan-India reach across 300+ screens in Hindi, Odia and Telugu languages.
The film is set to release in select international territories on July 17.
