Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Release Postponed For Second Time

Film Won't Release On June 4

The release date of Yash’s starrer Toxic has been postponed once again. The film will no longer release on June 4, and a new date has not been announced yet. In this regard, a post was made on Yash’s official Instagram account, in which he wrote, “Some films make us, and some remind us why we fell in love with cinema in the first place. ‘Toxic’ has been one such journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and seeing the overwhelming response from across the world confirms what we always believed: that this film deserves to reach its full potential across the world.

‘Toxic’ is fully ready, and we are currently finalizing its global distribution and partnerships. Therefore, we have decided to change our release timeline. The film will no longer release on its previously announced release date of June 4, but will be released on a later date that is more convenient for the world. ‘Toxic’ will soon be released in theatres across the world.” He further wrote, “At a time when Indian cinema is establishing its new identity and growing strongly on the big stage, it is the responsibility of all of us to take this level even further.”

Let’s rise. As an actor-producer, I see this moment as an opportunity for the Indian film industry and for all of us to contribute to ensuring that our films reach the world with the impact they deserve. At every step and through every change, you have been with me, and for that I am deeply grateful. Some stories demand patience. Some journeys require it. We promise to give you a film that you will enjoy and celebrate, a film that will be a proud moment for Indian cinema.”

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the release date of the film has been postponed. The original release date of the film was March 19, 2026, but it was shifted to June 4, 2026. The makers said in an official statement that the ongoing tensions in the Middle East were affecting cinema production, which led to this decision. Another reason given was that Toxic would clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandar 2 if it releases on March 19, and the film was postponed to avoid losses.
