Rules For The ‘Sugam Darshan’ Facility At Maa Chintpurni Temple Revised

To make the ‘Sugam Darshan’ system for visiting Maa Chintpurni more transparent and organized, the Temple Trust has tightened its regulations. Under this system, it will no longer be possible to obtain a pass for the visit using the Aadhaar card of an outsider.

When obtaining a pass, only the Aadhaar card of a family member will be valid, and the person whose Aadhaar number is provided must be physically present at the designated location at the time of the visit.

According to the Temple Trust, passes for two, four, or five devotees can be issued against a single Aadhaar card under the Sugam Darshan system. However, to avail of this facility, the Aadhaar cardholder must be a member of the devotees’ family. Furthermore, they must personally be present at the designated lift area at the time of the visit to the deity.

If the person listed on the Aadhaar card is not found at the designated location during verification, the pass issued based on that Aadhaar card will be deemed invalid. Consequently, the concerned family of devotees will not be permitted to use the Sugam Darshan system for their visit. The temple administration has taken this step to prevent potential misuse of the Sugam Darshan system.

Temple Trust Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that this arrangement has been implemented within the Sugam Darshan system. Paras Agarwal, Co-Commissioner of the Temple Trust and SDM of Amb, explained that while a provision regarding Aadhaar cards existed previously, it is now being implemented more clearly and effectively. The objective of this system is not to inconvenience devotees but to ensure the Sugam Darshan facility reaches genuine devotees in a transparent manner. This measure will curb the practice of obtaining passes in the names of outsiders.
