Actress Saiee Manjrekar is the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar and is gradually making a name for herself in the industry. Saiee believes that even though her father is a prominent figure in the industry, in the long run, only discipline, dedication to her craft, and hard work will serve as the true pillars of her success. Speaking about her journey, the actress stated, “I have always wanted to step out of the comfort zone provided by my film background and carve out my own identity.
For me, growth comes from continuous learning, proving myself through my work, and staying grounded amidst it all.” The actress further noted that everyone’s journey comes with its own set of challenges, and rather than comparing ourselves to others, we should focus on our own personal growth. Actress Saiee Manjrekar has harbored a deep passion for dance since childhood; prior to entering the world of acting, she even worked as an assistant director on her father’s film, *Astitva* (2018). Subsequently, in 2019, she made her Bollywood debut with the role of ‘Khushi Chautala’ in *Dabangg 3*, capturing the audience’s attention right from her very first film.
The actress is now set to appear in the pan-India period drama *India House*. This film is a period drama based on real-life events from the pre-independence era in London circa 1905; it captures the spirit of love and revolution and has been filmed simultaneously in both Hindi and Telugu. In the film, Saiee Manjrekar plays the character of a young woman named ‘Sati.’ Her look in the film is distinctly traditional.
