Salman Discusses Various Aspects Of His Life And Career

Audiences eagerly await the films of Bollywood’s ‘Bhaijaan’ Salman Khan. Throughout his career, Salman has delivered numerous blockbusters and memorable films. Over a career spanning nearly four decades, Salman has acted in approximately 88 movies. Now, Salman has made a major revelation regarding his process for selecting films. The superstar shared insights into how he chooses his projects. During a conversation, Salman Khan spoke candidly about various facets of his life and career.
It was during this discussion that Salman made a surprising disclosure about his film selection process one that left everyone astonished. He admitted that, throughout his entire career, he has never once read a script. “I have never read a script in my entire life,” Salman stated. “I have written scripts, but I have never read them.” Salman explained that, rather than reading a script from start to finish, he prefers to focus on understanding its emotional core, its narrative treatment, and its commercial appeal.
During the conversation, Salman also addressed the persistent buzz surrounding the expensive watches he is frequently spotted wearing at public events and gatherings. Over the past few years, Salman has repeatedly grabbed headlines for the high-end timepieces he sports many of which are reportedly valued at over ₹1 crore. Speaking on the matter, the actor remarked, “Just because you see me wearing these watches doesn’t mean they belong to me. They belong to a friend of mine.” On the work front, Salman Khan is set to appear soon in the film *Matrubhoomi*, directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
Originally slated for an April release, the film has undergone several significant changes, resulting in a postponement of its release date. The film’s title has also been changed from *Battle of Galwan* to *Matrubhoomi*. Audiences are currently still awaiting the announcement of the film’s new release date. Additionally, Salman is making headlines for his upcoming film alongside Nayanthara, the shooting for which has already commenced. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, this film is set to be released next year on Eid 2027. Salman recently appeared in a cameo in *Raja Shivaji*, in which he played the character of Jiva Mahala.
