Parineeti Chopra To Appear As A Field Reporter In The Film ‘Reporting Live’
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, who recently made her OTT debut with the streaming series ‘Shaque: Trust No One’, will share the screen with Shekhar Suman and Amol Palekar in the upcoming film ‘Reporting Live’.
In this film, the actress will play the role of a field reporter who ventures into the murky world of illegal sand mining in pursuit of a story. In this realm, a ruthless sand mafia goes to great lengths to keep its operations and the associated crimes hidden from the public eye.
Deven Bhojani and Adil Hussain will also feature in pivotal roles in the film. It is directed by Dhruv Tripathi and written by Mihir Jadhav and Dhruv Tripathi. Producer Partha Kiran Thakur said, “The stakes are very high both in the story we are telling and in the scale of its production. We had a very clear vision for this film, and seeing that vision come to life through such a powerful ensemble cast has been incredibly gratifying. Bringing together actors from different generations each a master of their craft was one of the most exciting aspects of this process.”
He added, “We are particularly excited to see Parineeti Chopra and Deven Bhojani together on screen.” Produced by Partha Kiran Thakur and Joshua Shirsath, *Reporting Live* is set to stream on Netflix on October 9.
