Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record; Sachin had completed 15,000 ODI runs in 377 innings against South Africa in 2007.
Captain Shubman Gill scored the 10th century of his ODI career, playing an innings of 110 runs. Earlier, West Indies batted first after losing the toss. Justin Greaves played an innings of 101 runs off 108 balls. John Campbell scored 62 runs, while Amir Jangoo remained unbeaten on 58. For India, Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets, while Prasidh Krishna claimed 2 wickets and Nitish Reddy took one.
