24-Carat Gold Price In Chandigarh Falls By ₹11,700 In Four Days; Check Rates

A significant drop in gold and silver prices has been observed at the beginning of September. According to rates released by jeweler Rajiv Sahdev, the price of 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,55,100 per 10 grams on September 2.

On September 1, the price was ₹1,60,000, whereas on August 26 it was ₹1,66,700, and on August 24, it stood at ₹1,66,800 per 10 grams. Thus, between August 24 and September 2, the price of 24-carat gold decreased by ₹11,700 per 10 grams.

Similarly, the price of 22-carat gold was ₹1,53,400 on August 24 and dropped to ₹1,42,600 per 10 grams by September 2. The price of 18-carat gold also fell from ₹1,27,200 to ₹1,18,300, and 14-carat gold dropped from ₹1,00,400 to ₹93,300 per 10 grams.

A decline in silver prices has also been recorded. On August 24, silver was priced at ₹254 per gram, while on September 2, it fell to ₹236 per gram. This represents a decrease of ₹18 per gram in the price of silver over the course of about a week.

Meanwhile, the price of a silver coin dropped from ₹2,900 to ₹2,700. The continuous decline in gold prices has brought relief to customers planning to purchase jewelry. However, fluctuations in gold and silver prices are likely to continue in the market.
