Meta Launches New AI Model ‘Muse Voice Transcribe’

Will Provide Live Transcription In Over 70 Languages

Meta has launched its new AI model, ‘Muse Voice Transcribe’, which supports over 70 languages, including major Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

This is the first real-time audio perception model from Meta Superintelligence Labs. It can convert a person’s voice into text as they speak. It is also capable of identifying individual speakers and detecting when someone starts and stops speaking.

According to Meta, this model can handle conversations with over 20 people and can continuously transcribe audio for up to an hour. Remarkably, even if the language changes during the conversation, the user does not need to manually change the language setting.

What Is The Price?

Meta has made Muse Voice Transcribe available to developers via the Meta Model API. It costs $3, or about ₹300, for 1,000 audio minutes. According to the company, it is also being used for dictation in Meta AI and Muse code for Mac.
