Actor and producer Dhanush released the much-awaited trailer of director Mariyappan Chinna’s horror thriller ‘Immortal’, which stars actors GV Prakash and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles. Taking to his X timeline, Dhanush wrote, “This is the #Immortal trailer… Best wishes @gvprakash.” The released trailer begins with a tribal couple in a foreign land who are preparing to welcome their child.
It may be recalled that the censor board has already cleared the film for release with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The film is now scheduled to hit the screens on September 4 this year. It may be recalled that the makers of the film had announced in May this year that the shooting of the film has been completed.
Sources had said that the makers initially intended to release the film in May this year. The film has been eagerly awaited ever since the makers released an interesting and entertaining teaser of the film last year. Apart from GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar, the film also stars several artists including TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, Lolu Sabha Maran, Aditya Kathir, Arshu Maharjan, Pema Tasamchoy and Sunita Shrestha.
On the technical side, the film, produced by Arun Kumar Dhanasekaran, has cinematography by Arun Radhakrishnan and music by Sam CS. The film has been edited by San Lokesh while the art direction is by Shiva Shankar. The film’s stunts have been choreographed by R. Shakthi Saravanan while the dances have been choreographed by Sabarish.
