Important News For Air Travelers! Several International Flights Temporarily Suspended

The country’s largest airline, IndiGo, has temporarily suspended flights to some international destinations amid global challenges. IndiGo has decided to temporarily reduce some of its international flights.
According to the airline’s statement, the number of flights on select routes will be reduced from July 1 to September 30, while flights to Langkawi (Malaysia), Krabi (Thailand), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Hong Kong, Shanghai (China) and Siem Reap (Cambodia) will remain completely suspended from July 3 to September 30.
The company said that bookings for these routes will resume from October 1 and if the market situation and demand improve, these services may be restored even earlier. However, despite these changes, IndiGo’s more than 1,800 weekly international flights will continue.
The airline says the move has been taken to balance capacity in view of current demand, rising costs and airspace restrictions. The company said that affected passengers will be informed directly and passengers are advised to check the latest status of their flights before travelling.
