Flight Schedule At Chandigarh Airport To Change Starting Tomorrow
Daily Flights To Indore; Direct Flight To Sharjah
The flight schedule at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh, will change starting Monday. The new winter flight schedule will remain in effect until March 28, 2027. This winter schedule includes an increased number of flights on both international and domestic routes, along with the addition of new connections.
After a hiatus of nearly three years, direct flights from Chandigarh to Sharjah will resume. Additionally, passengers traveling to Indore, Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Bengaluru, and Goa will have a wider range of flight options. Under the new schedule, flight operations at the airport will continue even after midnight.
A key highlight of the winter schedule is the resumption of the direct Chandigarh-Sharjah flight. This service will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The flight will depart from Chandigarh at 1:50 PM and arrive in Sharjah at 5:50 PM.
On the return leg, the flight will depart from Sharjah at 5:50 PM and arrive in Chandigarh at 11:05 PM. The one-way fare for this route is reported to be approximately ₹17,820.
Increased Flights To Mumbai, Indore, And Abu Dhabi
Under the new schedule, flights to Indore will now operate daily, instead of three days a week. The number of daily flights to Mumbai will increase from three to four. Similarly, the frequency of flights on the Chandigarh-Abu Dhabi route is being increased from three to six times per week.
Furthermore, the Chandigarh-Leh service will operate three days a week. These changes will provide passengers with more options for planning their travel.
New Schedule For Bengaluru And Goa
Additional connectivity to Bengaluru will be available starting December 1st. The flight from Bengaluru to Chandigarh will operate daily except on Sundays departing at 7:25 AM and arriving at 10:25 AM. Starting December 6, the Sunday flight from Bengaluru will depart at 2:20 PM and arrive in Chandigarh at 5:15 PM. The return flight from Chandigarh to Bengaluru will depart at 5:55 PM and arrive at 9:10 PM.
A non-stop flight from Chandigarh to the southern part of Goa will depart at 11:00 AM and arrive at 1:45 PM. On the return leg, the flight will depart from Goa at 2:30 PM and reach Chandigarh at 5:15 PM. This service will operate on all days of the week, except Sundays. The winter schedule also includes a connection between Chandigarh and Patna.
Operations To Continue Past Midnight
According to the new schedule, the last flight from Chandigarh to Bengaluru will depart at 12:35 AM. Meanwhile, the final incoming flight from Mumbai is scheduled to arrive at the airport at 12:20 AM.
Consequently, flight activity at the airport will continue late into the night during the winter season. Passengers are advised to verify the flight days and timings with the respective airline before booking their tickets.
