The film is written and directed by Harris Imtiaz Khan. Set in a rural milieu, the movie explores a world where family, legacy, and buried truths intertwine to create a spine-chilling tale of horror. Speaking about the film, director Harris Imtiaz Khan said, “For me, ‘Kaali Kheti’ is about understanding agriculture through the lens of horror something I had never seen before. It felt new, thrilling, and deeply unsettling all at once. The film holds a mirror to society; it’s just that the reflection appears within a terrifying, fictional world.”
The film has been produced by Sana Khan under the banner of ‘BlackCanvas Studio’.
