My Best Work In Hollywood Is Yet To Come – Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra is one of the select few Indian actors to have achieved success in both Bollywood and Hollywood. At the peak of her Hindi film career, she moved to the US in search of international opportunities. However, despite working on numerous global projects, Priyanka feels that her body of work in Hollywood pales in comparison to what she has accomplished in Indian cinema. Reflecting on her Hollywood career, she expressed a desire to take it further through diverse projects.
Despite delivering impressive performances in Hollywood films like Baywatch, The Matrix Resurrections, and the recently released Love Again, Priyanka believes her best work in Hollywood is still ahead of her. The actress noted that during her Hindi-language career, she worked with the finest filmmakers and actors, told amazing stories, and explored various genres experiences she hasn’t yet fully replicated in her English-language work in Hollywood. Priyanka stated that her next phase would focus on playing a wide variety of roles in Hollywood, just as she did in Bollywood.
The next shift is about figuring out how to bring the same diversity to my Hollywood characters that I managed to achieve in India. She also spoke candidly about life after marriage and motherhood, acknowledging that her life has changed significantly. “Your priorities really shift,” she said. “I don’t just pack my bags and head out for a film anymore. I don’t do five movies a year. I don’t travel the way I used to. I am very deliberate about how and with whom I spend my time. I am navigating life as a working mother. I feel a much deeper sense of empathy for my own mother now.
