Opportunity To Complete Incomplete Degrees: PU Offers Golden Chance
Apply From February 12

If you haven’t completed your degree, you have a golden opportunity. Panjab University (PU) has offered a golden chance. Applications can be made from February 12 to March 11. After this, exams will be held in April-May. This is a major relief for students who haven’t completed their UG, PG, and professional courses within the stipulated time.
Controller of Examinations, Prof. Jagat Bhushan, stated that this golden chance will apply to students enrolled in UG courses from the 2014 admission session onwards and PG and professional courses from the 2011 admission session onwards under the semester system. The exams will be conducted alongside the semester exams scheduled for April-May 2026.
Currently, students can only apply for even-semester papers. This includes the second, fourth, sixth, eighth, and tenth semesters. Students who have no remaining re-appear opportunities can apply for re-appear, compartment, full subject, improvement, additional subject, incomplete or missed practical papers under this special provision.
Portal Will Remain Open Until March 11th
The online application portal will be available at ugexam.puexam.in for UG courses and pgexam.puexam.in for PG and professional courses. This portal will open on February 12, 2026, and close on March 11th. Applications will be accepted online only.
The fee per semester for UG courses is ₹7,500 and for PG and professional courses, ₹15,000. Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates will receive a 50 percent fee discount. The examination mode will be completely offline.
