This happened when her connecting flight from New York to Mumbai was diverted to Muscat after the recent missile attacks in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The actress had recently left New York for Mumbai. Her flight was supposed to land in Dubai, but due to the sudden attacks, the flight was diverted and the actress is stuck in Muscat.
Ameesha Patel wrote from her official social media account, ‘I was returning from New York to Mumbai via Emirates. As we were about to land in Dubai, the airspace was closed due to the latest missile attacks in the UAE. Now we have been diverted to Muscat. We are waiting for further information. When will this war finally end.’
Apart from this, Ameesha Patel has shared a post. In it, she has written with a picture of the Dubai airport, ‘Many hours have passed at the Dubai airport and the wait is still on. I can’t wait to return home to Mumbai.’
