Union Home Minister Amit Shah Will Visit Punjab On March 14th
Address The BJP's Badlaav Rally In Moga.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab will organize a Badlaav Rally in Moga on March 14th, which will be addressed by senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This announcement was made by Punjab BJP’s acting state president, Ashwani Sharma.
Sharma stated that every section of Punjab is distressed by the current government. The Aam Aadmi Party government will complete four years on March 16, 2026. In these four years, the AAP government has failed to fulfill its election promises and even ensure the rule of law in Punjab. The government has taken a U-turn, reneging on everything it promised before coming to power.
Drug And Corruption Rampant In Punjab
Sharma alleged that law and order in Punjab is in shambles, with drug and mining mafias rampant. The health and education systems are in shambles, and employees are not receiving their salaries and pensions on time. Due to non-payment of dues for free schemes, the Electricity Board and Punjab Roadways are in heavy losses and have been unable to pay salaries for months.
Those guilty of sacrilege have not been punished, while AAP leaders, MPs, and MLAs themselves are accusing AAP leaders of colluding with the mafia. Far from fulfilling the promise of MSP for every crop, farmers have suffered reductions in the MSP sent by the central government for wheat and paddy over the past four years. He said that traders are plagued by tax extortion. The condition of roads leading to and within cities, towns, and villages is deplorable.
Sharma said that chain snatching incidents are occurring daily in every village, town, and city in Punjab. Kabaddi players are being publicly murdered. Gangsters are openly shooting and killing anyone they please, and now, crimes are being committed with impunity even outside police stations and SSP offices.
Sharma alleged that the Punjab Police, which was supposed to root out terrorism in Punjab, has become so preoccupied with retaliation against political opponents that it is failing to prevent grenade attacks on its own police stations. Sharma said that the people of Punjab will form a BJP double-engine government in the 2027 assembly elections.
