CM Nayab Assures: "Everyone Will Get A Home"

The Haryana government is set to take another significant step toward strengthening housing facilities in rural areas. Under the ‘Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme 2.0’, residential plots will be allotted through a draw of lots on April 13 at 12:00 PM. This marks the third phase of the scheme, which encompasses 55 Gram and Mahagram Panchayats across 11 districts of the state.

Under this scheme, plots will be allotted across a total of 55 Panchayats, comprising 52 regular Gram Panchayats and three Mahagram Panchayats. Beneficiaries in Mahagram Panchayats will be allotted plots measuring 50 square yards, while those in regular Gram Panchayats will receive plots of 100 square yards. Prioritizing social inclusion, the scheme grants special preference to applicants belonging to nomadic communities, widows, and Scheduled Castes.

CM States: “Everyone Will Get A Home”

The allotment of plots will be conducted in a transparent manner at designated venues, under the supervision of the respective Deputy Commissioners or Chief Executive Officers (District Council). This phase covers Panchayats located in the districts of Ambala, Fatehabad, Jhajjar, Jind, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Mewat (Nuh), Palwal, Rewari, Sirsa, and Sonipat.

Karnal district accounts for the highest number of beneficiaries in this phase, with 12 Panchayats covered, followed by Sonipat, where 11 Panchayats have been included. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that the government is making rapid strides toward achieving its objective of providing a home to every needy family. In line with this goal, the scheme is expected to serve as a major source of support for the rural poor.

The government asserts that this initiative will lead to concrete progress in realizing the “dream of a home for all” in Haryana, enabling needy families residing in rural areas to benefit from permanent housing.
