Raghav Chadha Releases Another Video Regarding AAP

'This Is Just A Small Trailer... The Movie Is Yet To Come'

Following his removal from the post of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha, the war of words between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leadership and Raghav Chadha has intensified. Allegations and counter allegations are being traded by both sides via social media. Now, Raghav Chadha has released a new video in which he asserts, “This is just a small trailer… the movie is yet to come.”

Posting the video on his official ‘X’ account, Raghav Chadha wrote: “To my colleagues in AAP who felt compelled to release videos claiming that ‘Raghav Chadha failed to raise Punjab’s issues in Parliament’ this is just a small trailer… the movie is yet to come.”

He further added in his post: “For me, Punjab is not merely a talking point. It is my home, my duty, my soil, and my very soul.”

I Am Wounded; Therefore, I Am Lethal

Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has hit back at the criticism leveled against him by the party’s top leadership following the apparent diminishing of his stature within the Rajya Sabha by the Aam Aadmi Party. After being stripped of the Deputy Leader’s post, Chadha released a video message in which he not only responded to the queries raised by senior party leaders but also issued a “lethal” warning to those questioning his loyalty.

He declared: “Every lie peddled by those leveling allegations against me will be exposed. I am wounded; therefore, I am lethal.” Chadha termed the accusations such as being a “coward” leveled against him by senior AAP leaders like Sanjay Singh, Atishi, and Saurabh Bharadwaj as a “orchestrated attack.”

Is Raising The Issues Of The Common Man A Crime?

In his 2-minute-40-second video message, he stated that all those leveling allegations against him appear to be speaking from the same script uttering words that have been written down for them. Chadha posed the question: “Is it a crime to raise the issues of the common man in Parliament?” Challenging allegations that he did not participate in the opposition leaders’ walkouts, he stated that all proceedings in the House are recorded; if the CCTV footage is made public, the falsehoods will be exposed.

He also dismissed the accusation that he failed to sign a resolution concerning the Chief Election Commissioner. The party has 10 Members of Parliament (MPs) in the Rajya Sabha, and six or seven of them of their own accord did not sign this petition.

He remarked, “To those accusing me of raising trivial issues in Parliament out of fear, I wish to clarify that I did not go to Parliament to shout, hurl abuses, or break microphones. I went there to raise the issues concerning the public. Which issue, exactly, have I failed to raise?”

He asserted that he has addressed topics ranging from GST to water specifically, from the issue of Punjab’s water to the air quality in Delhi. He raised issues spanning from unemployment to inflation. “Just look at my track record; I am in Parliament to champion the public’s cause.” The Aam Aadmi Party was sought for a comment on this matter, but they could not be reached.
